Glashütte Original PanoInverse

German watchmakers are known for their high quality of movement finishing, but it’s difficult to appreciate this beauty when the watch is on your wrist.

The PanoInverse solves this issue by reversing the balance wheel to the top of the movement and displaying it on the dial. It is held in place with a hand-engraved butterfly bridge, flanked by a duplex swan-neck fine adjustment.
 
The dial remains balanced with an off-centre time display and subsidiary seconds dial, both with black rings for legibility. There is also a power reserve indicator at 2 o’clock. The three-quarter bridge is made from galvanic anthracite and is finished with Glashütte stripes. This gives the watch an industrial feel which complements the elaborate bridge. 
 
The slim 42mm case sits comfortably on the wrist and remains relatively simple to further showcase the dramatic dial. 
 
The watch is paired with a grey alligator nubuck leather strap, fastened with a steel folding clasp.
