Grand Seiko Elegance Spring Drive GMT


Seiko’s Spring Drive movement has often been thought of as magical, effortlessly combining the mechanics of an automatic movement with the accuracy of a quartz. This results in an attractive movement (visible through the exhibition case back), accurate to ±15 seconds per month, powered by the movement of your wrist, without the need for a battery. Furthermore, this Calibre 9R66 movement boasts an impressive 72-hour power reserve.

The wearer is reminded of this power reserve with a sleek indicator on the dial. The dial itself is finished in the exceptional quality that you might expect from Grand Seiko. A striking sunburst brown catches the light, competing against highly polished hands and indices. A simple arrow-shaped GMT hand points to a 24-hour track around the outside of the dial.


As part of Grand Seiko’s Elegance Collection, it comes as no surprise that the 40mm steel polished case has a refined design, with sleek edges and a smooth bezel. The watch is paired with a stylish black crocodile leather strap, fitted with a Grand Seiko steel folding clasp.
