Rolex Submariner "Kermit"

The Rolex Submariner is the world’s most iconic watch. A firm favourite since its release in 1953, it's a true tool watch, suitable for divers, adventurers and those wanting a smart, everyday watch. To celebrate the Submariner’s 50th anniversary, Rolex released this reference 16610LV, fondly known as the “Kermit”.
 
The Kermit doesn’t stray too far from the Submariner 16610, with an identical case, bracelet and movement, however features a striking green aluminium bezel insert – a bold movement for a brand as conservative as Rolex. Perhaps less known is that the Kermit also features a maxi dial, with larger hour markers and wider hands for increased legibility.
 
The 40mm Oyster case is made from durable 904L stainless steel and is water resistant to 300m. Rolex’s TripLock screw-down crown gives the wearer additional confidence in its water resistance. 
 
Powering the watch is Rolex’s Calibre 3135 automatic movement. Chronometer-certified and known to be extremely robust and accurate, offering a 48-hour power reserve.
 
We are pleased to present this watch for sale on behalf of its original owner who has enjoyed wearing it for a number of years. The case and bracelet show signs of wear consistent with the age of the watch, and to retain this originality, we have decided to leave the watch unpolished. 
 
This 2008 watch comes as a full set, supplied with its presentation box, guarantee card and booklet, Rolex booklets, and leather wallet. 
There are also details of a full service carried out by Rolex UK and the watch has since been checked by a watchmaker and found to be running well. As such, we are pleased to supply the watch with a six-month warranty.
