Arcanaut ARC II - Bonehead

There are few watch brands as experimental as Arcanaut. Since releasing their first watch in 2018, Chief Designer Anders Brandt and Chief of Materials Development, James Thompson, have continued to push the boundaries of unconventional watchmaking.
 
In his own words, James describes the creation of the Bonehead as when he “accidentally-on-purpose injected a chunk of aerospace-grade aluminium foam with an opaque resin and attached the result to a disc of solid lume.”. What emerged was a dial that resembled bone marrow.
 
To match the dial, the ARC II case was stripped back to the bones, creating a more skeletonised silhouette of the much-loved design. Machined in Denmark, the case has a micro-blasted finish, giving it an industrial feel. However, the playful theme extends to the case back which has a lumed “GlowPatch” featuring a Bonehead motif.
 
Powering the watch is an automatic, Swiss-made Soprod M100 movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve. The wearer has the choice of two rubber straps – one in blue and one in brown.

This special watch is limited to just 33 pieces. Presented in excellent pre-owned condition, it comes supplied with its original box and paperwork, and is covered by an Arcanaut warranty until January 2027.
