Carl F Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual

We are pleased to offer for sale this Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual, a quietly complicated chronograph from one of Switzerland’s biggest watch retailers come watchmakers, limited to just 888 pieces. 
 
Inspired by Bucherer’s chronographs from the 1940s and 1950s, the Heritage BiCompax Annual takes familiar vintage cues and adapts them for everyday wear. The 41mm steel case is well balanced on the wrist, with gently curved lugs and a mix of brushed and polished surfaces lending a restrained, elegant presence. 
 
The silver dial is clean and well proportioned, with a bi-compax chronograph layout allowing for a pleasing symmetry. Black subdials provide contrast against the sunburst silver finish, and a double date window at 12 is finished in black. A small window at 4:30 displays the month, giving a nod to this watch’s annual calendar complication. 
 
Through an exhibition case back you can appreciate Bucherer’s automatic calibre CFB 1972. The movement is based on an ETA 2894-2 and is known to be well-made and reliable.  
 
This example is fitted to a black rubber strap with a steel folding clasp, giving the watch a more sporty, versatile feel, however it would also suit a leather strap for an alternative look. This 2019 watch is presented in excellent condition and comes supplied as a full set, including a 6-month warranty from Watch Concierge Services.
