Cartier Ballon Bleu

Cartier have been creating beautifully designed wristwatches for over 120 years. In 2007, they redesigned the classical round watch with the Ballon Bleu which they describe as “giving volume to the circle”. The pebble-shaped case features an integrated crown, allowing a continuous sweeping disc, and a convex sapphire crystal and case back further add to the smooth aesthetic.

The dark grey dial is adorned with Cartier’s signature Roman numerals and is decorated with a wavy guilloche pattern which radiates from the centre of the dial. An oval-shaped date window sits comfortably at 3 o’clock, giving a carefully thought-out sense of proportions.

Powering the watch is a Swiss-made automatic movement, offering a 40-hour power reserve.

The watch is supplied with both a steel bracelet and a grey alligator strap, offering different looks. The strap is fitted with a steel clasp which allows the end of leather to fold back on itself, giving a clean design.

We are excited to present this watch in an excellent, like-new condition having recently been professionally refinished. Furthermore, the alligator strap has only been worn a handful of times. It comes supplied with its original box and paperwork and a six-month warranty from Watch Concierge Services.
