Christopher Ward C12 Loco

 
When Christopher Ward released the Loco earlier this year, it drew attention from the watch industry for its combination of bold, contemporary design and mechanical ambition.
 
The bold dial design has a free-sprung balance wheel at its centre, powered by a newly manufactured in-house CW-003 movement, with two barrels offering an impressive 144-hour (six-day) power reserve. And in keeping with all Christopher Ward watches, it offers fantastic value for money.
 
The striking dial is housed in a 41mm steel “Twelve”-style case, with a twelve-sided bezel and short lugs, making it well-proportioned and easy to wear. A box sapphire crystal, along with the layering on the dial, means that the sunburst finish of Pasadena Blue really plays with the light.
 
The time can be read on a floating sub dial at 12 o'clock, its symmetry echoing that of the hand-finished bridges that support the mesmerising balance wheel.
 
Through an exhibition case back you can appreciate the structural architecture of the CW-003 movement, many of whose components are also hand-finished.
 
In keeping with its sporty aesthetic, the Loco is usually offered with an integrated steel bracelet or rubber strap, however we are excited to offer this piece with a set including the steel bracelet (with micro-adjust clasp), and three rubber straps in blue, black and white, each fitted with their own steel folding clasp. All of which feature quick-release fittings, making it simple to swap depending on your preference.
 
This 2025 watch is in an unworn condition, and supplied as a full set including a Christopher Ward 60-month warranty.
