Fears Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour 'Edwardian Edition'

There are few taglines as fitting as Fears’ “Elegantly Understated”, and this Jump Hour ‘Edwardian Edition’ is a wonderful addition to the Brunswick range.

Created for the 2023 British Watchmakers’ Day (an event hosted by the Alliance of British Watch & Clockmakers) this watch part of a limited run of just 10 pieces, available exclusively at the show. This example was the very first purchased, bearing the engraving “1 of 10” on the case back.
 
To further elevate its uniqueness, the Brunswick case has been crafted from sterling silver. Inspired by early 1920s watches from the Fears archive, the cushion-shaped case features sweeping curves with no flat surfaces. A period-correct onion crown is set with a flawless diamond, a detail often found on Fears’ precious metal pieces.
 
The main highlight, however, is the white lacquer dial: minimalistic, symmetrical, and centred around a jump hour display at 12 o’clock — a modern interpretation of a classic complication.
 
Beneath the hallmarked case back, the watch is powered by a Swiss-made Sellita S200 automatic movement fitted with a purpose-built jump hour module. 
 
The watch is paired with a Maple Red Alcantara strap with a sterling silver pin buckle, and also supplied is a pale blue leather strap with a steel pin buckle. The monochrome design makes this wathwell-suited to a wide variety of strap options.
 
We are pleased to offer this special piece in excellent condition, showing only light signs of wear to the case and straps. It comes supplied as a full set, including a Fears warranty to March 2027.
