The Furlan Marri Havana Salmon takes design inspiration from the vintage chronographs of the 1940s, perhaps most recognisably the Patek Philippe reference 1463. However, they often come with a six-figure price tag and the Furlan Marri is available at a far more affordable price point.
The two-tone dial is an attractive combination of salmon pink and chocolate brown, and with two sub dials at 3 and 6 o’clock, it remains well-balanced.
The 38mm steel case has similar proportions to the vintage pieces yet feels substantial and well-made, featuring elaborately engraved pushers.
Powering the watch is a Seiko VK64 mechaquartz movement, offering the accuracy of a quartz watch with the wonderful sweeping seconds hand.
