We are pleased to offer for sale this Grand Seiko Spring Drive Diver. This limited edition, created for the Asian market, combines the brand’s renowned Spring Drive technology with a robust, purpose-built dive watch design, alongside the beautifully finished dial we’ve come to expect from Grand Seiko.
Part of the Sport Collection, the 44.2mm stainless steel case has a strong wrist presence, while its carefully considered proportions ensure it remains comfortable to wear. A unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown and 200 metres of water resistance underline its practical credentials, while the carefully considered case and dial finishing add a more refined touch than typically found on dive watches.
The green dial features a subtle patterned finish that plays with the light and draws the eye in, while large applied indices and hands are filled with Lumibrite, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. A power reserve indicator is positioned on the dial, a signature feature of Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive models, adding both visual interest and everyday practicality.
Powering the watch is the Spring Drive calibre 9R65. Combining mechanical energy with quartz regulation, it delivers exceptional accuracy of ±15 seconds per month (±1 second per day), along with a smooth, gliding seconds hand and an approximate 72-hour power reserve.
The watch is fitted to a steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp, featuring a secure lock and push-button release, along with a slide adjuster for added comfort. We also think this watch would look great on a rubber strap.
This 2019 example is presented in an excellent, unpolished condition with light scratches to the case and bracelet. There is the option to have the watch refinished if you wish. It comes supplied as a full set, and is covered by a 6-month warranty from Watch Concierge Services.
