Habring² Erwin Scientific Dial
Independent Austrian brand Habring² started making watches in 2004, and with production at only about 200 pieces a year, they could be considered as relatively under-the-radar.
But Habring² aren’t your usual microbrand. Their simple aesthetic is met with in-house mechanisms and interesting complications. My favourite of which, the dead-beat seconds, can be found on this beautiful Erwin model. While many brands aim to get the smoothest sweep of the seconds hand, this complication reintroduces the “tick” that can often be seen with quartz watches. Fairly useless, but I love it!
Complications aside, the watch itself is very handsome. The Scientific Dial refers to the brushed silver finish, featuring both a straight-grained centre section and circular-grained outer edge, both of which playfully catch the light.
The 38.5mm steel case features a smooth polished bezel, and through an exhibition case back, you can appreciate the manual-wind Calibre A11S movement.
We are pleased to present this watch in excellent condition, paired with a classic Habring² brown leather strap. It comes supplied with a travel case and a 6-month warranty.
