Hermès Cape Cod

Hermès are known for their luxury leather products, from handbags to belts, and when it comes to their timepieces, they still apply the same level of quality, design and craftsmanship.
 
The Cape Cod collection sits comfortably within the range, offering an everyday watch with equal measures of style and value. It takes inspiration from the Hermès Chaine d'ancre, whose links have been appreciated for more than 80 years.
 
With dimensions measuring 29mm x 40mm, the watch can be described as mid-size, but as we see a trend for men reaching for smaller watches, this elegant piece would suit any wrist.
 
A simple silver dial is elevated with carefully curved Arabic numerals, echoing the curved edges of the case, to the extent that the number 8 playfully mimics the shape of the case itself.
 
Whereas some luxury brands have dipped their toes into watchmaking with poor designs and quartz movements, Hermès have chosen the Swiss-made ETA 2000-1 automatic movement. 
 
Fitted to the watch is the original brown leather strap and Hermès steel folding clasp, however also supplied is a brand new black leather strap for an alternative look. You could also fit to the watch an iconic Hermès double wraparound strap. 
 
We are excited to present this watch in a very good pre-owned condition. The movement has been recently serviced, and as such, we are able to supply the watch with a 12-month warranty, alongside its original box and leather travel pouch.
