Hermès H08

While Hermès is perhaps better known for its leather goods, over the past few years, watch enthusiasts are getting increasingly excited by the watch offering presented by the luxury French brand.

The H08 is a wonderful example of this, introduced in 2021 as a modern all-terrain watch. Featuring an unusual cushion-shaped case, technically advanced materials and a sleek, considered design, this piece is an interesting offering from the maison.

The case measures 39mm in diameter and 42mm from lug to lug – proportions that have a presence on the wrist, yet it feels lightweight due to its graphene composite (ceramic) case. A variety of finishes, including matte black sides, a radial brushed top case and polished chamfers, add a luxury feel to stealthy sports watch, while softened edges and sharp, geometric details give the H08 its distinctive appearance.

The design of the dial is particularly considered and remarkable. The font used for the numerals was specifically created for the H08, giving the dial much of its character. Much like the case, a number of finishes have been carefully selected for the black-gold treated dial, including a grained centre and brushed grey hour ring. An orange-tipped seconds hand adds a subtle flash of colour.

Through a tinted sapphire case back, you can view the Hermès Manufacture H1837 automatic movement. It features a rotor weight decorated with a repeating Hermès ‘H’ motif and offers a 50-hour power reserve.

Fitted to the watch is an Hermès orange rubber strap, paired with a black-treated titanium folding clasp. The combination of the orange strap and seconds hand gives this otherwise monochrome watch a particularly sporty character.

We are pleased to present this 2022 watch in excellent condition, showing very little signs of wear. It comes supplied with its original box and paperwork, and is covered by our 6-month warranty.
