IWC Pilot's Chronograph Le Petit Prince
IWC are known for their pilot’s watches and created the “Le Petit Prince” range of watches to honour the French pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. In addition to being a pilot, Antoine was also an author and wrote the children’s book, “Le Petit Prince” which follows the adventures of a young prince.
Through these collaborations, IWC supports the Fondation Antoine de Saint Exupéry which helps disadvantaged children and young people.
The watch itself is a stunning pilot’s chronograph, featuring a beautiful blue sunburst dial with a day-date complication.
A 43mm steel case fits well on the wrist and has a steel case back, adorned with an image of “Le Petit Prince”.
Powering the watch is IWC’s calibre 79320, based on a reliable ETA 7750 and offering a power reserve of 44 hours.
The watch is paired with a brown leather strap, made in collaboration with Italian luxury shoe manufacturer Santoni. Due to the nature of the leather, it is showing some signs of wear however a replacement strap can be sourced on request.
