JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar

The Perpetual Calendar could be described as one of the most impressive complications in “everyday” watchmaking. In the case of this masterpiece from Jaeger-LeCoultre, it allows the wearer to read the hour, minute, seconds, day, date, month, year and moon phase. Even more impressive, is that the Calibre 868 movement is not only automatic, but a mere 4.72mm thick, resulting in a watch which sits at just 9.2mm on the wrist.
 
The steel case has a diameter of 39mm, and a slim bezel allows for an expansive dial to clearly, and symmetrically, display the beautiful complications. The finish is a deep black, highlighted with polished hands and indices, making it more legible than you might imagine.
 
The watch is paired with a stylish black alligator strap, fitted with a steel folding clasp.
