Linde Werdelin Hard Black III

Linde Werdelin was founded in 2002 by Danish designers Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin, with the brand built around a shared passion for skiing, climbing and exploring the mountains and seas. Their distinctive case shape also leans into that robust aesthetic.

We are pleased to present for sale this striking Hard Black III, introduced in 2014 as a limited edition of just 99 pieces.

Despite its substantial measurements (44mm wide × 46mm long × 15mm high), the black DLC finish gives the steel case a stealthy feel. The sharply faceted construction, recessed bolts and microbillé finish have an unmistakable appearance, while the short sloping lugs ensure the watch sits comfortably on the wrist. In keeping with the robust look, the case offers 300m of water resistance.

The matte black dial is brought to life with bold light blue Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers. The font on the 3 and 9, as well as on the bezel, give a futuristic feel. The font is also carried on to the double date window at 4:30.

Underneath a decorated case back the watch is powered by the ETA 2896-2 automatic movement, a reliable and proven calibre offering a 42-hour power.

Paired with the watch is a black alligator strap, custom-made by Wisentex for the Linde Werdelin case, and fitted with a black Linde Werdelin pin buckle.

We are pleased to present this watch in an excellent condition, showing only light signs of wear to the case. It comes supplied with a LW travel case, and a LW pre-owned warranty card dated November 2023. The watch has also recently undergone a full service, and as such we are happy to sell it with a 12-month warranty.

Limited to just 99 pieces, the Hard Black III is an unusual and distinctive watch, combining an uncompromising sports-watch design with the brand’s characteristic Scandinavian approach to engineering and form.
