Luminox P-38 Lightning Auto Chrono

This striking Luminox watch takes inspiration from the instrument panel of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, one of the most acclaimed aircrafts used during World War II.

It features a matte black dial and Arabic numerals, allowing for maximum legibility. Unlike other brands that paint luminous material on to the hands and dial, Luminox places the material into small tubes and fits them to the hands and at the hour markers – take a look at our image, it’s quite impressive.
 
The steel case is a substantial and sturdy 44m, offering 200m of water resistance. It’s not the first time a round dial has been used in a square case, yet the curved lugs on the Luminox offer something a little different and sit well on the wrist.
 
The case back is intricately decorated with the P-38 aircraft and underneath, the watch is powered by a Swiss Valjoux 7750 automatic movement.
