Omega Speedmaster '57 - 60th Anniversary

The Speedmaster ’57 was released in 2017 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of one of three iconic watches introduced by Omega in 1957. It takes its inspiration from the original “Broad Arrow” Speedmaster, the world's first chronograph wristwatch with a tachymeter scale engraved on the bezel.
 
At 38.6mm, the steel case is a little smaller than the regular 42mm Moonwatch, making it exceptionally wearable while retaining plenty of wrist presence thanks to its combination of brushed and polished finishes. 
 
 
The black dial has a subtle tropical-inspired finish and features vintage-inspired Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers, paying tribute to the character of the original Speedmaster while remaining unmistakably modern.
 
Turning the watch over reveals a case back engraved with the Hippocampus, a mythological Greek seahorse that Omega have used since 1958. Underneath, the watch is powered by the manual-wind Omega calibre 1861, a direct descendant of the movement that accompanied astronauts to the moon. Reliable and easy to maintain, it offers a 48-hour power reserve.
 
The slim steel bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist and features a clever comfort adjustment within the clasp, allowing it to be resized by approximately half a link without the need for tools. Also supplied with the watch are an unworn Omega brown leather strap and an unworn Omega grey NATO strap, allowing the watch to be easily transformed to suit the occasion.
 
Limited to 3,557 pieces worldwide, this example is presented in excellent condition with only very light signs of wear. It is offered as a full set, complete with its presentation box, leather travel pouch, paperwork and a 6-month warranty.
