Omega Speedmaster Date 39
This reference 3511.50.00 offers an alternative to the Moonwatch, and at 39mm, it also fits many wrist sizes.
The configuration of the black dial gives a nod to the automatic calibre 1152 inside, Omega’s version of the ETA / Valjoux 7750.
Silver-white subdials are balanced by a white date disc at 3 o’clock, another helpful feature not found on traditional Moonwatches.
The steel bezel has a Tachymeter scale filled with black lacquer – often worn on watches of this age, we’re pleased to present this piece in an excellent condition, with only light signs of wear.
The rest of the case is reminiscent of a Speedmaster, with lyre lugs and a mix of brushed and polished finishing, however this model is fitted with an interesting hexagonal crown.
The steel bracelet is scaled down a little, measuring 18mm at the lugs and tapering down to 14mm at the clasp. This versatile watch would also suit any number of straps.
Thought to be from circa 1993, this watch has been tested and found to be running well, and as such we are pleased to supply it with a 6-month warranty. Also supplied is an Omega travel pouch, and pre-owned paperwork.
