Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

The Speedmaster is one of the most iconic watches ever made. It has been included in all six lunar missions and is an impressive representation of Omega's adventurous pioneering spirit.
 
This reference 310.30.42.50.01.002 was released in 2021 and is often referred to as the "sapphire sandwich" referencing the sapphire crystals on both the front and back of the watch. The exhibition case back proudly displays Omega's beautiful Calibre 3861 manual wind, co-axial movement which has a Master Chronometer certification.
 
The black dial remains similar in design to those early Moonwatches and features a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. The black bezel, with its tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case and fitted with a matching bracelet. The watch would equally look good on a leather or nato strap, giving it a different feel.
