Omega Speedmaster Triple Date

While many of you will be familiar with the iconic Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, the Speedmaster Triple Date offers something a little more exciting, with its compact case, automatic movement and technically impressive functions. 
 
Introduced in the late 1990s, this reference 3520.50.00 is undeniably “Speedmaster” with its twisted lugs and black tachymeter bezel. The matte black dial is also familiar, however it features a host of practical complications including hours, minutes, small seconds, day / night indication, day, pointer date, month and a chronograph. Despite all of this, the monochrome design ensures excellent readability. 
 
The 39mm steel case wears extremely well on the wrist, and is paired with a comfortable steel bracelet, although this watch would also suit any variety of straps. The closed case back shows an engraving of the Hippocampus, a mythological Greek seahorse that Omega have used since 1958, and underneath the watch is powered by Omega’s automatic calibre 1151. For collectors looking for an everyday Speedmaster, it remains one of the most practical and robust movements Omega has produced.
 
Dating from approximately 1998, this example is presented in very good pre-owned condition, showing light signs of wear consistent with its age. The movement has been tested and is running well, however may benefit from a service in the future, which is something that we can arrange for you. 
 
The watch comes supplied with its original presentation box and instruction booklet.
