Panerai Luminor Marina Logo 3-Days

Italian watchmaker Panerai have been producing watches since 1860, concentrating their efforts to create dive watches for the Italian Navy and in doing so, developed Radiomir, a highly-luminous substance for use on watch dials. In 1949, Panerai filed a patent for Luminor, which had been developed to become a less harmful alternative to Radiomir. Paired with its distinctive crown protection system, the Luminor became one if the most recognisable designs in modern watchmaking. 
 
This reference PAM00777 is a wonderful example of of the Luminor Marina, combining its classic cushion-shaped steel case with a highly legible black dial and contrasting blue Panerai OP logo at 6 o’clock. 
 
At 44mm, it is certainly a substantial watch on the wrist, but this generous size is very much part of the character of a modern Panerai.
 
Powering the watch is Panerai’s manually wound P.6000 calibre. Introduced in 2018, this movement was developed and manufactured by Panerai in Neuchâtel and provides an impressive 72-hour power reserve from a single wind. 
Fitted to the watch is a Panerai black rubber strap, giving it a suitably sporty character while also making it well suited to everyday wear. This watch would also look great on a leather strap.

Dating from October 2019, this example is presented in very good condition and is supplied as a full set, including its Panerai presentation box, warranty card, warranty certificate and instruction booklet.
 
A particularly versatile example of combines the unmistakable Luminor Marina case with the more contemporary P.6000 movement and distinctive blue OP logo. What began as a functional tool for demanding underwater missions has become one of the defining designs of contemporary sports watches.
