Rolex Daytona 116520

The Rolex Daytona started life as a sports chronograph, finding a home on the racetrack where it was used to time the world's most glamorous motor races. The introduction of screw-down pushers gave the Daytona a new level of water resistance and it soon extended beyond the race track to become a practical tool watch.
 
The 40mm case is well-proportioned and many find it the “Goldilocks” watch in terms of size and comfort. A previous model to the current ceramic bezel version, this model 116520 features an all-steel bezel, engraved with a Tachymeter scale. 
 
A glossy black dial is fitted with white gold indices and hands, both applied with Super-LumiNova to provide legibility in low light. Silver rings circle the sub-dials, again allowing the wearer to easily read the chronograph. An applied Rolex logo sits proudly at 12 o’clock and the word “DAYTONA” is wrapped around the top of the sub-dial at six o’clock, adding a sporty dash of colour to the dial.
 
Powering the watch is Rolex’s Calibre 4130 movement, well-known for its accuracy and reliability. This was the first time Rolex used their own in-house calibre, replacing the previous El Primero movement.
 
We are excited to present this 2010 watch in a very good pre-owned condition. It comes as a full set, supplied with its presentation box, guarantee card and booklet, instructions, watch cloth and two swing tags. 
 
There are also details of a full service carried out by Rolex UK and the watch has since been checked by a watchmaker and found to be running well. As such, we are pleased to supply the watch with a six-month warranty.
