Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph

The Carrera has been closely associated with motorsport since its introduction in 1963, when Jack Heuer created a chronograph designed with racing drivers in mind. More than half a century later, the Carrera remains one of TAG Heuer's best-known sporting watches, with this reference CV201AR combining the familiar racing-inspired design with reliable Calibre 16 automatic movement. 
 
The blue dial has wonderful sunburst effect, which catches the light. White subdials provide contrast and legibility, and splashes of red give the watch a sporty feel. 
 
At 41mm, the steel case has a presence on the wrist, while angled lugs help it sit comfortably. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces give the watch a luxury feel but, along with 100m of water resistance, also make it suitable for everyday wear. The ceramic tachymeter bezel adds to the racing aesthetic, and also has the advantage of being highly resistant to scratches. 
 
Powering the watch is TAG Heuer's Calibre 16 automatic chronograph movement, known to be robust and reliable, and offering 48 hours of power reserve. 
 
The watch is fitted to its original steel bracelet, but would also look great on any variety of straps such as a rubber or leather strap. 
 
We are pleased to present this 2019 watch in excellent condition, showing very little signs of wear. It comes supplied as a full set, including its presentation box, guarantee card and instruction booklet. The movement has been tested and found to be running well, and as such we are happy to provide a 6-month warranty with the watch. 
 
A sporty and highly wearable Carrera, the combination of the blue dial, ceramic tachymeter bezel and steel bracelet gives this particular example a nice balance between the classic Carrera design and a more contemporary feel.
