Tudor North Flag
Tudor’s tagline of “Born to dare” must have inspired someone in their design department to come up with something a little different on the day the North Flag was created.
Tudor will claim that it draws design inspiration from the Oyster Prince, a watch worn by explorers in the 1950’s, however, with its bold arrow-shaped hour hand, it reminds me more of the Tudor Ranger. Either way, the North Flag is a striking watch.
A matt black dial provides a clean back drop for generously lume-filled hands and indices, allowing for high legibility. The monochrome design is brought to life by yellow accents on the dial and seconds hand. A power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock proudly displays the 70-hours of power reserve that the Calibre MT5621 movement offers.
The movement itself, visible through an exhibition case back (which is unusual for Tudor), was the brand’s first in-house movement. Not only has it proven to be reliable, but it is also Chronometer-certified.
The 40mm steel case retains a sporty aesthetic with is satin-brushed finish and integrated bracelet. A scratch-resistant black ceramic bezel sits beneath a ring of steel. The bracelet is comfortable to wear, assisted by half links and a micro-adjust clasp.
We are excited to present this watch in an excellent condition, supplied with its original box and paperwork, including a Tudor warranty to August 2026. Furthermore, the watch has recently been checked by Tudor UK and comes with repair paperwork.
